01

Turn spare coins into a workhorse

DOGE tends to pile up from tips and small transfers. Litecoin keeps the cheap transfer but carries a payments-coin reputation.

02

Cheap on both ends

Both Dogecoin and Litecoin have small network fees, so almost nothing is lost on the way through.

03

A rate with no surprises

We lock the price the moment you start. Nothing added on top: what you see is what you get.

04

Your coins do not sit with us

We do not hold a balance. Dogecoin comes in and goes straight out as Litecoin to your address.

Send Dogecoin only on the Dogecoin network; the address usually starts with the letter D. Litecoin is its own separate blockchain, so the receiving address is a Litecoin one, usually starting with L, M, or ltc1. Both networks confirm fast, so the swap rarely drags. They are built alike but are not compatible: an address from one does nothing on the other. Dogecoin blocks come frequently, so the deposit confirms quickly, and the Litecoin leg does not keep you waiting either. If the DOGE piled up from small credits, send it in one transaction, so the order is worked out once rather than piece by piece. The exact rate and minimum are shown right in the swap form. The exchange starts after 20 confirmations on Dogecoin — usually about 20 min.

FAQ

Will I be asked for documents to swap DOGE?

No. No forms, no scans, no account: the page needs the amount and your Litecoin address. We do not check the person swapping. The automated screening looks at where the funds came from, and a deposit that cannot pass it returns to the sender address, so it stays yours.

Why move Dogecoin into Litecoin?

Litecoin is just as cheap and fast to send, but it is more often held as a payments coin with a long history.

How long does the transfer out of Dogecoin take?

The swap waits on Dogecoin confirmations, which is the bulk of the pause and a short one, since blocks there come frequently. The Litecoin side then confirms at its own pace, again without dragging. All told the path is short, and the order status shows the step it is on.

Which network do the LTC arrive on?

The Litecoin network, its own blockchain, with addresses that usually start with L, M, or ltc1. A Dogecoin address, the kind starting with D, does not work here: the two chains are alike in spirit but not interchangeable. Check that the receiving wallet expects Litecoin.

What if the DOGE goes out on the wrong network?

Send DOGE on the Dogecoin network and give a Litecoin address. If it arrives wrong, message @swappsy.

Can I send DOGE straight from an exchange?

Yes. Pick the Dogecoin network on the withdrawal form and send one transaction to the address shown. The exchange takes its own withdrawal fee and processes it at its own pace, so check the amount that actually leaves against the order.

Do I get the money back if the swap does not happen?

Yes. Leave a refund address on the order and the Dogecoin returns there if the swap cannot be completed. Fill that field in before sending, and the return does not depend on a conversation.
