How to exchange TRON (TRX) to Bitcoin (BTC)

  1. 01 Enter the amount and your Bitcoin address.
  2. 02 Send TRX from your TRON wallet in one transaction.
  3. 03 Receive Bitcoin to your address, usually quickly.
01

Gather the leftovers into a reserve

TRX often sits in a wallet after moving tokens around the TRON network. When there is no reason to keep it, this turns it into Bitcoin.

02

Your side clears instantly

TRON confirms in seconds and costs next to nothing, so the swap gets moving right away, no wait on the way in.

03

A rate with no surprises

We lock the price the moment you start. Nothing added on top: what you see is what you get.

04

Your coins do not sit with us

We do not hold a balance. TRX comes in and goes straight out as Bitcoin to your address.

Send TRX from the TRON network (the native coin of the network, not a token). For receiving, give a standard Bitcoin address on the BTC network, not a Lightning invoice. TRON confirms your side in seconds; after that you wait on Bitcoin confirmations on the way out. The exact rate and minimum are shown right in the swap form. The two sides run at very different speeds: TRON is quick and cheap, Bitcoin slow and with a noticeable fee, so nearly all of the swap time is Bitcoin confirmations. Check the first and last characters of the receiving address before you send, because a Bitcoin transfer cannot be pulled back. If you want to hold the coins yourself, give a wallet address rather than an exchange deposit address.

FAQ

Do I need to register or pass verification?

No. An amount and a Bitcoin address are enough. There are no identity checks on the person swapping and no document requests; the screening applies to the funds moving through the exchange. If a deposit cannot be cleared, it does not get swapped - it is returned to an address the sender still controls.

How long does it all take?

Your side is the quick one: the TRX deposit confirms on TRON in seconds. The rest of the time is Bitcoin doing its usual work on the payout, which is the slow leg of this pair and not a delay on our side. Exact timing shifts with Bitcoin network load, so we do not promise minutes.

What if I pick the wrong network?

Send TRX from the TRON network, and give a regular Bitcoin address, not a Lightning invoice. If something looks off, message @swappsy and we will sort it by hand.

Is it safe?

We do not hold your balance and do not ask for documents. TRX passes through the swap and goes out as Bitcoin to your address.

Can I send TRX straight from an exchange withdrawal?

Yes, a withdrawal from an exchange straight to the deposit address works like any other transfer, as long as the withdrawal network is set to TRON (TRX). Keep in mind the exchange takes its own withdrawal fee: the swap is calculated from the amount that actually lands, not the amount you typed.

Can I get a refund?

If the swap does not go through, leave a refund address and we will return your funds.
