Exchange Litecoin (LTC) to ETH

Litecoin is cheap to send in; ETH is your way into everything built on Ethereum.

Send Litecoin, receive Ethereum to your own wallet. The LTC network fee is tiny, so the way in is cheap, and we lock the rate before you send.

How to exchange Litecoin (LTC) to ETH

  3. 03 Receive ETH to your wallet, usually quickly.
01

Cheap way in

Sending Litecoin costs next to nothing, so almost none of your balance gets eaten by network fees on the way into the swap.

02

The key to the Ethereum ecosystem

ETH is the entry ticket to DeFi, NFTs, and apps on Ethereum. Once it is in your wallet, you are set up for any of them.

03

Rate locked before you send

You see the ETH amount before your Litecoin goes out. Once it is sent, that rate does not move.

04

No account, straight to your wallet

No sign-up needed. ETH goes to your address, and nothing sits on a balance with us.

Send Litecoin only on the Litecoin network, from an exchange or wallet that supports it. For receiving, give a standard Ethereum address that starts with 0x, no memo or tag. ETH arrives on Ethereum mainnet (L1). The swap goes through after Litecoin network confirmations. The exact rate and minimum are shown right in the swap form. If your LTC sits on an exchange, pick the Litecoin network for the withdrawal and send it in one transaction to the address shown. The ETH you receive can pay Ethereum fees right away, with no separate gas coin to arrange. After pasting the 0x address, compare its first and last characters: many networks share the format, and this payout goes to mainnet.

FAQ

Is there a sign-up before swapping LTC for ETH?

No. The amount and an Ethereum address are enough. We do not check the identity of the person making the swap and keep no customer profile. What gets screened is the deposit itself, and if it cannot be cleared, the swap stops and the Litecoin returns to an address the sender controls.

How long until ETH lands after a Litecoin deposit?

Shorter than on many pairs: Litecoin confirms deposits at a brisk pace, with frequent blocks, so the way in rarely drags. The payout then goes out on Ethereum, which keeps a calmer rhythm. We promise no exact minutes, since network load decides the pace, and the order page shows each step.

Will the ETH arrive on Ethereum mainnet?

Yes, you receive plain ETH on Ethereum mainnet (L1), to a standard 0x address. We do not send a copy of the coin from some other network. If you need ETH on an L2, message support @swappsy first, since the payout goes to mainnet by default.

What if I mix up the address?

Send Litecoin on the Litecoin network, and give a 0x Ethereum address to receive, not a Litecoin one. If anything looks off, message support and we will sort it.

The transfer amount differs from my order - what happens next?

The order is recalculated from what actually reached the deposit address, at the rate in effect when the deposit confirms. A little more sent means a little more ETH, a little less means less. A noticeable gap or an odd case goes to manual review, and support settles it with you.

Does a Litecoin withdrawal from an exchange work here?

Yes, when the exchange sends LTC on its own Litecoin network, which is the standard option. Paste the deposit address shown into the withdrawal form and send it in one transaction. Keep the exchange withdrawal fee in mind: the deposit receives the amount after that fee.

If the trade cannot finish, where does the Litecoin go?

Back to the sender. Leave a Litecoin address for the return, and if the exchange cannot be completed, the coins travel there. A deposit does not linger with us: it either becomes ETH or heads home.
